Senior Insurance Advisor
Scott Harris is a Senior Insurance Advisor and co-founder of Stonehaven Financial Group (SFG), a boutique insurance and financial planning firm. With over 20 years of experience working with top entrepreneurs from across the country and the people that support them, Scott’s key interest is in helping his clients act on every advantage available to them.
Scott began his career in the financial services industry in Vancouver, British Columbia working with one of the largest insurance companies in Canada. Soon after moving his practice to Toronto he co-founded SFG in 1999. Today, SFG offers solutions through superior strategic alliances that are experts in Estate and Insurance Planning, Wealth Management and Multigenerational Wealth Transfer, Corporate Planning and Employee Benefit Services.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®), Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA), and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), each of which has a Code of Ethics designed to protect clients, Scott is proud to uphold the professional standard of behaviour that governs these professional designations while serving his clients.
Scott has served on numerous boards and continues to volunteer within the industry to help where needed. He is also a frequent guest speaker at various industry and non-industry events.
Scott resides in Aurora with his wife and four children. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling with his family, good food, and participating in many sports.

Robbie has been with Stonehaven since 2007. By exploring the relationship between life and money he works with clients to align their objectives with their overarching visions and goals and move toward a life and future they want. He is actively pursuing further professional designations and is a member of Advocis, which holds him to a code of ethics designed to protect clients and uphold a professional standard of behavior. He is an active member of the Toronto Advocis Board of Directors. Robbie and his wife live in Holland Landing, prior to which they spent six years living and travelling in a variety of countries abroad. Nowadays, the adventure is provided by his two young children.

Robb Wismer has been in the Financial Services industry since 2007. Robb works intimately with entrepreneurs and professionals helping to align their objectives with their visions and goals. Robb is viewed by his clients not only as a highly effective and credible source for all things insurance, but as an approachable and trusted advisor. Robb is actively pursuing further professional designations that will hold him to a code of ethics designed to protect clients and uphold a professional standard of behavior. Robb and his young family reside in Bradford. He is active in his community by helping to coach various sports teams and enjoys playing several sports himself.
Sean Ross is a group benefits and retirement advisor with 15 years of experience in the field. Sean has worked with clients of all sizes across a broad range of industries. He works diligently to ensure that clients maximize the return on their investment in their benefit plans.
Sean was drawn to the financial services sector after studying Economics at Carleton University. He takes pride in helping clients understand and leverage the relationship between benefits and corporate profitability, and doing his part to help make clients’ operations more successful.
Sean is a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), who began his career with one of Canada’s largest insurance companies, in their group benefits division. It was in this role that Sean gained the in-depth knowledge necessary to provide clients with sound advice that allows them to make informed decisions surrounding their benefit and retirement plans.
Sean resides in North Toronto with his wife and two children. He is an active member of the community. He coaches hockey, baseball, and soccer, and also enjoys playing a number of sports himself.
Portfolio Manager, Investment Advisor
Ben W. Kizemchuk is a Portfolio Manager and Investment Advisor for high net worth Canadians. Ben works personally with his clients to help them achieve their most important financial and lifestyle goals. Ben’s mission is to create a better investment experience for his clients through innovating in three key areas: relationship, service, and advice. Ben’s clients benefit from financial plans that reduce taxes, protect assets, and manage wealth through long term investments.
Matthew graduated with Honours’ in Biotechnology from Brock University in 2010. He continued his thesis work, “the photoisomerization of azobenzene analogies”, with Dr. Tony Yan, which was published shortly thereafter before making the switch to the Financial Services industry. For 8 years he worked with Sinclair-Cockburn, a Mortgage Investment Corporation/Mutual Dealer. In 2018, he moved the Mutual Fund arm of Sinclair over to the likeminded Stonehaven Group. Leveraging their decades of experience and holistic approach to Financial Planning, Matthew has found a permanent home in the Stonehaven team. Matthew and his girlfriend Hilary, pursue active lifestyles. Splitting their time evenly between friends, sports and travel.
Gayle joined Stonehaven Financial Group in 2002 and is currently our Insurance Co-ordinator. She has 26 years experience in the insurance industry which goes a long way in providing the highest level of customer service to our clients. In 2010, she obtained her life insurance licence. Gayle enjoys spending time with her family, reading and loves animals.
